The Institution of the Eucharist

Fruit: Love of the Eucharist

What Happens

At the Last Supper, Jesus takes bread, blesses it, and says: "This is my body." He offers himself completely and commands his disciples to do the same in his memory.

What It Teaches Us

The Eucharist is Jesus' greatest gift — His real presence with us. Every Mass is an invitation to receive Christ and become more like Him.

Scripture Reading

Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to his disciples: "Take and eat; this is my body."
