Glorious Mysteries — 2 / 5
The Ascension
What Happens
Forty days after the Resurrection, Jesus ascends into heaven, taking his seat at the right hand of the Father. He promises to send the Holy Spirit.
What It Teaches Us
Jesus returned to the Father but did not abandon us. The Ascension reminds us that heaven is our true home and that Jesus continues to intercede for us.
